Free CPR and First Aid Training and Certification Classes Announced

The Buena Vista Public Library and the Chaffee County Fire Department are teaming up once again to offer free CPR and First Aid training and certification.

The library plans to offer four classes within the next year, thanks to grant funding from the Chaffee County Community Foundation.

The first class is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 at the library, located at 131 Linderman Ave., Buena Vista.

All supplies are provided, and participants who complete the training will receive their American Heart Association CPR and First Aid Certification. Class size is limited, and registration is required. Please visit the library event calendar to register (https://buenavistalibrary.org/events/).
