Aw, summertime in the mountains. Is there anything better? Perhaps it’s summertime — with free music in the park. The city of Salida has announced its 2022 Summer Concert Series (formerly called Thursdays@6). This year every free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, and all concerts are in the bandshell in Riverside Park.
Every concert is free, just bring your lawn chairs or lawn blankets, a few friends and maybe a picnic supper to enjoy the best community summer time can offer. Limited concessions will be available.
The schedule for the summer, which begins the end of this month, has been finalized:
June 30 – Mo’Champipple and the Miso Horns
July 7 – El Camino
July 14 – Sirsy
July 21 – The Instigatorz
July 28 – Buzz Drivers
August 4 – Pint and A Half
