The Chaffee County Small Business Coalition is sponsoring a free small business workshop at noon Wednesday, Sept. 23. The event, “How to Pivot for Greater Success Using Lean Startup Strategies,” will be facilitated by Adrian Reif, social entrepreneur and author of, among several books, “The Do-Gooder’s Guide to Investing,” and by Mansi Kakkar, who “convenes conversations in uncertainty and complexity” for organizations around the world.

The event is co-sponsored by Buena Vista Chamber, Salida Chamber, Salida Business Alliance, and Chaffee, Lake, and Park counties in collaboration with Central Mountain SBDC, Northwest SBDC and West Central SBDC.

The workshop will help small businesses and non-profits develop strategies for surviving an economic downturn, and provide the tools and methodologies to PIVOT quickly, efficiently, and find new market niches. Based on The Lean Startup method created by Eric Ries, it is designed to drive startup and existing business and teach them how to steer, when to turn, and when to persevere – and grow a business with maximum acceleration.

Businesses can register here. If you are unable to join in, email info@centralsbdc.org to get the recording.

If you have any questions or cannot log in to the workshop, call 719-221-0374 or email info@centralsbdc.org
