Fremont County continues its push to increase vaccination of Fremont County residents. Mobile vaccine clinics will open in three Fremont County locations beginning Sunday, May 16 at the Florence Fire Department (during the Florence Car Show).

All sites are free and open to the general public. Walk-ups are accepted, but book an appointment for a guaranteed time slot. No ID or insurance is required. Minors ages 12+ can now receive the Pfizer vaccine with parental consent. Each clinic will be able to provide either the two-shot Pfizer or one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

Sunday, May 16 (10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. ): Florence Fire Department, 300 West Main St., Florence, CO 81226. Schedule an appointment at: https://florence-516.youcanbook.me/. Walk-ups are also accepted.

Tuesday, May 18 (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.): Fremont County Department of Human Services, 172 Justice Center Rd., Cañon City, CO 81212. Schedule an appointment at: https://canoncity-518.youcanbook.me/. Walk-ups are also accepted.

Wednesday, May 19 (12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.): Cañon City High School, 1313 College Ave., Cañon City, CO 81212, Schedule an appointment at: https://canoncity-519.youcanbook.me. Walk-ups are also accepted.

According to the Fremont County Department of Public Health and Environment, they have administered 12,058 COVID-19 vaccines (both doses) as of May 12. Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) data shows that 35.2 percent of eligible Fremont County residents have received one or more doses of any COVID-19 vaccine.
