Drone soccer is an indoor team sport played with remote-controlled hobby quadcopters that are enclosed in protective plastic spheres designed to collide in midair. One drone on each team is designated as a striker that can score points by flying through the opposing goal. All other drones are defending or blocking by intentionally colliding with the opposing team.

The camps immerse kids in technology, engineering and teamwork. Students will build, program, fly and repair drone soccer balls in the world’s newest e-sport. The camps help prepare them for the first statewide tournament at the Rocky Mountain State Games July 31 and Aug. 1 in Colorado Springs. Click here for more information on the camps.

In addition, the group is looking for qualified drone pilots for temporary summer employment as drone soccer referees, coaches, and other positions.
