On December 16, the Greater Arkansas River Nature Association (GARNA) will host the Wild and Scenic Film Festival as a virtual event. GARNA leaders say they thank all those who have supported them in 2020 and in appreciation, they have reduced prices for community members and discounted tickets for members.

In sponsorship with Monarch Community Outreach, GARNA is helping support local restaurants through the film festival. Tickets provide access to the live, virtual event along with a five-day window afterwards to rewatch the series. Wild and Scenic is one of the nation’s premier environmental and adventure film festivals which features “stellar filmmaking, beautiful cinematography and first-rate story telling.”

The two hour film festival is completely virtual and tickets can be used from December 16 to December 21. There will be a live community chat on December 16. This year, participants can help support local restaurants with ticket options including take out dinners throughout the Upper Arkansas River Valley. Participants can choose meals from Moonlight Pizza, Treeline Kitchen and Eddyline Brewery. Click here to purchase tickets.
