The program, in its 10th year of helping Salida kids in need, provides the opportunity for community members to give children in their community a special Christmas by helping in the following ways.

Community members looking to participate in Baba’s Magical Christmas and the Tree Giving Program can shop the downtown Giving Trees by picking a card off one of the trees and purchasing the items listed on the card. The store will wrap the purchases and pass along the items to the elves for delivery. Stores that are participating in the Tree Giving Program are located at: Kaleidoscope Toys, The Book Haven, Salida Mountain Sports, Corvus Clothing and the Little Red Tricycle.

Donations to the food box program can also be made. The requested shopping list for non-perishable food can be found by clicking here. For those interested in contributing money for winter clothing, checks can be made payable to the Baba’s Magical Christmas and dropped off at Kaleidoscope Toys located at 116 F Street in Salida.

Persons with inquiries about helping in other ways can contact Shannon by calling (719) 239-1318 or by emailing negitisland@yahoo.com.
