It’s that time of year for favorite holiday movies; mark your calendar for a Chaffee County special event. From 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, December 20 the Salida Recreation Department and Hot Springs Aquatic Center in conjunction with the Chaffee County Fairgrounds will be showing the 2018 movie, Grinch.
The movie and holiday festivities will take place at the Chaffee County Fairgrounds located at 10165 County Road 120 in Poncha Springs.
The evening features more than just the movie, there will also be holiday cookie decorating and hot cocoa. The admission for the movie is $3 and $5 for those who want to stay for the whole package. The schedule is as follows:
2 to 3 p.m. Decorate Holiday Cookies
3 to 4 p.m. Holiday Craft Party
4 to 4:30 p.m. Get ready for movie showing, pop popcorn, make hot cocoa etc.
4:30 to 6 p.m. Watch The Grinch (2018)
