Guidestone’s Annual Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival at the Hutchinson Homestead & Learning Center is back for 2021. The festival which began this past weekend will continue from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on October 15 through the 17.
Autumn in the Upper Arkansas Valley is a wonderful time to celebrate the region and its abundant harvest. This beloved community event provides six days of family fun for hundreds of festivalgoers from Chaffee County and surrounding communities. On tap are wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, a free pumpkin with each child’s ticket, a straw bale maze, crafts, drinks and snacks, farmyard friends, games, cider press, hand stenciling, and live music.
To keep everyone safe during the Pumpkin Patch, organizers will adapt the event, as needed, to COVID guidelines from state and county public health agencies.
Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch cover event costs and support Guidestone’s mission of growing a vibrant agricultural future through education, community building, and partnerships.
The event is Guidestone’s largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch support the delivery of Farm to School, Farmhands Education, Hutchinson Homestead and Learning Center, and Colorado Land Link programs.
