If you are among the many newbie drone recipients this holiday season, the Central UAS Club reminds you that the Buena Vista Drone Flying Park is a good safe place to get to know your new aircraft. You’ll find ample flying space and takeoff pads at the park. You’re advised to dress warmly.

The park is located adjacent to the rodeo grounds at Gregg Drive and Rodeo Drive.

In addition, the Central Colorado UAS Club says it is always seeking new members, and hails itself as a good place to learn the many details of safe and legal drone operation.

The group has its monthly get-together at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 2 at the Colorado Regional Airport’s Operations Room, and the meeting also will be available on Zoom. The January meeting will cover the FAA’s Remote ID and Operations Over People final rules as well as a review of the Club’s 2020 year and plans for 2021.

If you think you might need some flying lessons with your new craft, or if you have questions about the club or need a meeting Zoom link, contact Taylor at ccusaclub@gmail.com.
