High Country Bank issued a statement Sunday evening announcing that effective Monday, March 16, due to the spread of the coronavirus known as COVID-19, that it is temporarily closing the lobbies at their their Salida Highway, Salida Downtown, Buena Vista, and Cañon City locations.

“In these uncertain times, our concern at High Country Bank is for the well-being of our employees, customers and the communities we serve,” said Larry Smith, High Country Bank President. “The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has been reported in Colorado, and while we have no news of confirmed cases in our area, we want to act in the best interest of everyone’s well-being.”
Effective Monday, March 16:
- Branch lobbies will be closed to the public.
- All drive-through facilities will be open normal drive-through hours.
- Loan officers, e-banking staff and account specialists will be available by phone to answer any questions or set appointments.
