In observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, closure times of City and County buildings in addition to all-day closures, have been released by the City of Salida, Town of Buena Vista and Chaffee County.
In Salida, City Hall, Public Works, Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant will close at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed all day Wednesday, December 25. In addition to closures on December 24 and 25, the same City of Salida offices will close at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, December 31 and will remain closed all day on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center will close at 4 p.m. on December 24 and will remain closed all day December 25. The Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center will also close at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31. The Aquatic Center will open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, December 26 and on January 1.
The Town of Buena Vista offices will be closed December 24, December 25, and on January 1. No information was provided for New Year’s Eve, December 31.
Chaffee County offices will also be closed for the holidays with closures on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 24 and 25. In addition to observing the Christmas holiday, Chaffee County offices will also be closed on New Year’s Eve and Day on December 31 and January 1, 2020.
The City of Salida reminds citizens that emergency personnel will be on duty throughout the holidays.
