Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center Board will hear about plans for a Solvista medical facility on the hospital campus at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida Tuesday, Aug. 18.
Soloist CEO Brian Turner and COO Mandy Kaisner will make the presentation to the board.
Previously, HRRMC CEO Bob Morasko said Solvista expected to begin construction of that facility this summer, with completion targeted for summer 2021.
Solvista provides primary care delivered in an integrated setting with mental health, behavioral health, and wellness components available in Cañon City, Salida, Westcliffe, Buena Vista and Leadville.

The board will also hear updated fiscal projections from Lesley Fagerberg, Vice President of Fiscal Services for the first half of the year, and for July.
This will be the first formal board meeting since June.
The board will hear a report from Morasko on improvements to perimeter security and internal threat detection provided by Information Systems head Jesse Kaisner.
It will also review various capital purchase requests for the hospital and the Buena Vista Health Clinic and the Custer County Medical Clinic in Westcliffe.
