Looking for a low-cost night out with a chance to meet others in the community and exchange stories about the joys and challenges of living in Chaffee County? While focused on the housing crisis in Chaffee County, the films and stories also tie in the relationship between health and housing.

Colorado Mountain College and We are Chaffee have two upcoming dates in their “Dinner + a Movie” series.
The first 100 registrants at each event will enjoy a meal and a series of video short films. Childcare is provided for ages 2 and up.
Come for dinner at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy video stories at 6:30 with a chance to engage with local storytellers. It’s a work night (Thursday) for many but no school the next day and you’ll be home by 8:00 p.m. Pick whichever date or location is best for you (and organizers especially welcome those in Poncha Springs, Nathrop our from out in the county).
Oct. 27 – Salida SteamPlant
Enjoy a FREE, hearty burrito dinner from local favorite Mo Burrito.
Childcare for children 2 and up is provided for free in the Green Room at the Salida Steamplant.

Nov. 3 – Surf Hotel in Buena Vista
Receive a $25 gift card towards a meal at Wesley & Rose in the Surf Hotel.
Free Childcare for ages 2 and up will be provided nearby at the Buena Vista Community Center.
