HRRMC Clarifies Board of Directors Election Processes

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) has announced several updates regarding the Salida Hospital District board of directors election. Please see below:

For those who would like to skip the polling place or not wait until the May 3 election day to vote, applications for an absentee ballot are available on the HRRMC website, as well as in-person from our Designated Election Official (DEO) Juanita Ward.
Applications and ballots are available now through Tuesday, April 26. Ballots can continue to be dropped off after Tuesday, April 26 through election day (Tuesday, May 3). Ballots can also be mailed.
To fill out your application form and/or vote via “absentee ballot” in person, please come to the administration area on the second floor of the main HRRMC hospital campus, located at 1000 Rush Drive in Salida, CO 81201 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Board Candidate Forum Set for April 18

A forum will be hosted by the League of Women Voters of Chaffee County to introduce the Salida Hospital District board of director candidates. This will occur via Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 18.
