Today, Nov. 6 is election day across the nation, when we exercise our rights as citizens to vote. Polls opened at 7:00 a.m. across Chaffee County and will remain open until 7:00 p.m. tonight.
If you are 18-years-old and a registered voter in Chaffee county, you can vote. It is too late to mail your ballot; ballots must be dropped off at a voting location or deposited in the ballot boxes in front of voting locations. Ballots must be received by 7:00 p.m. election day. If you are in line to vote in person at 7:00 pm. tonight, you will be allowed to cast your ballot.
