The Chaffee Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) and the Chaffee Planning Commission are scheduled for a joint work session from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7 to review Module 2 of the revisions to the county’s Land Use Code (LUC).
The session will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room in the County Administration Building at 104 Crestone Ave., Salida. The public is invited to attend, either in person, or via Zoom at this link.
The process of revising the Chaffee Land Use Code to bring it in line with the Chaffee Comprehensive Plan finalized in 2020 is a complex undertaking. The county contracted with planning firm Logan Simpson for the code revision work,
Beginning at 6:00 p.m. following the joint session, the Chaffee Planning Commission will hold its regularly-scheduled Planning Commission overflow meeting.
