KHEN will host its 14th annual Halloween Bash from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 31 at the SteamPlant. This party will feature a costume contest with a Monarch season pass awarded to first place and live music featuring El Camino.

Food will be served, and a cash bar will be available. This event kicks off their Fall Membership Drive. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event is required. Masks are encouraged.
KHEN Community Engagement Coordinator, Jessica Dresch explained “We’re about trying to make the event as safe as possible, that’s what the SteamPlant wants to do as well, while still celebrating that there’s life to be had. The event is not only a fundraiser for KHEN but it’s a way to interact with the community because we are a community radio station, so it just makes sense that we should be able to party, be able to language and hang out with people in the community who listen to our shows and support us.”
“Another fun twist is people can incorporate mask-wearing with their costumes. It just so happens if they have a face covering that goes along with their costume that works too,” she added.
