As of 3:15 p.m. on October 25, Lake County reported one new COVID-19 case which brings their total to 133 positives and 10 active infection cases that are currently being monitored.

There are 110 positive PCR RNA active infection tests and state-categorized epi-linked probable cases to date. There are 23 probable positive antibody tests counted through July 9. The total of tests given is now 2,542. Some 1,668 of those tests have been PCR and 874 are antibody. The new cases are active infections (PCR) not associated with any general community spread.

Lake County, like most of Colorado is currently under the stage two “Safer at Home” order. LCPHA Public Health Officer, Dr. Lisa Zwerdlinger gave a weekly overview of Lake County’s COVID-19 status on October 21.

 

Lake County School District’s academic year is currently in progress, functioning with in-person, remote, and hybrid teaching models. The  plan is for them to remain in the yellow phase through the fall semester. The district has reconstructed the Project Dream programs to support hybrid learning and school-day enrichment needs. After-school clubs and Friday programs are eliminated and the Monday to Thursday enrichments are offered instead. Click here for more information.
