Accompanied by favorite local cover band Airing of Grievances (note the Festivus reference) for the first time on the same bill, Leadville Cherokee is delivering a very special dose of their hard-hitting, progressive, rock ‘n’ roll to ring in the New Year the only way they know how.

A long-time mainstay of The Lariat, this will be Leadville Cherokee’s third show since the grand reopening in May of 2022.

Over the last several months, Leadville Cherokee has been busy in the studio recording a new album set to release sometime in early 2023. Currently, in the post-production and mastering phases, the new album is 10 tracks long and features a repertoire of songs that have been staples in Leadville Cherokee’s setlist for the last several years.

Audiences at the New Year’s Eve shows will be treated to virtually all of the tracks included on the album and will likely recognize many of the songs already.

New Year’s Eve will consist of an opening set from Airing of Grievances and two sets by Leadville Cherokee.

As a special New Year’s Eve treat, one of Leadville Cherokee’s sets will be dedicated to their take on classic disco music.

“We’re putting our own spin on a disco set”, explained lead vocalist/rhythm guitar/violinist Peter Albrecht.

If you are staying in Buena Vista for the New Years make sure not to miss Leadville Cherokee and Airing of Grievances as they end the year the right way.

The party starts at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are only $20 and can be bought here.
