The funds raised will enable the BV Chamber to complete a live music stage at McPhelemy Park. The personalized legacy bricks (in two sizes) will be laid to create a 9-foot circular statement in front of the stage. With live music, plays, dance, poetry, achievement celebrations, demonstrations, 4th of July Freedom Fest, Gold Rush Days and numerous other events, this project will meet a large and ongoing community need, the Chamber’s website states.

It’s an opportunity to purchase a brick with a personal legacy or message that is meaningful to those who live in BV now, those who passed before, visitors who’d like to return to live here and even those who have moved away but whose memories of BV are lasting.

“We honor Tom Rollings (2015 Citizen of the Year) for his commitment to our town. He truly understands that we have a time-honored tradition of community, especially when it comes to live music. He saw a need that will benefit the people and the businesses in our town for many years to come, and generously donated the funds necessary to get it started. The Chamber is excited and proud to partner with the Town of BV to create this legacy, said BV Chamber Executive Director, Heather Rupska,
