Dear Editor:
I work for a nonprofit agency in Chaffee County that helps people in need find resources from other agencies such as housing, employment, education and food for their family. I have worked with Kimberly Parker with The Alliance on numerous occasions, helping our joint clients who have suffered a traumatic incident find housing or the resources they need to help get them back on their feet.
Kimberly Parker walks her talk. I have witnessed her work long hours and days in order to make sure her clients are safe, have food and are in a good environment. Kimberly is one of the smartest and hardest working people I know. She is a big-picture thinker, she’s methodical, and she knows the steps to take in order to achieve her goals.
Kimberly cares and wants the best for the people in Chaffee County. She also knows we have a housing crisis in our county as we see daily in working with our mutual clients. If Kimberly is elected to be a county commissioner, she will work strategically with others to find solutions to this problem.
Kimberly also has years of high-tech experience we need working for us. If you want a commissioner who will work hard for all of us and genuinely cares about the future of Chaffee County, vote Kimberly Parker in November. I am confident she is the best choice for our county’s future.
