Chaffee Fire in conjunction with the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control (DFPC) is conducting a live-fire demonstration of mobile training units at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 28.

The demonstration is being done in coordination with DFPC; a training event that will include 30 firefighters from the southern region of Colorado.

Throughout the weekend,  firefighters have been participating in hands-on, live-fire training. Monday June 28 is officially media and public safety community day, where the fire divisions will demonstrate the capability of mobile fire-fighting units. All three DFPC mobile training units will be in attendance and firefighters will demonstrate training tactics on each unit.

Chaffee Fire Chief Robert Bertram confirmed that the State of Colorado Public Information Officer will be in attendance.
