According to the Salida SchoolDisrict, students of Longfellow Elementary School will be in distance learning mode until Monday November 16. The situation related to possible COVID-19 explosure has been investigated and no students were referred to quarantine.
It will take the weekend to ensure the facts continue to point to returning to in-person learning mode on Monday and the district says it is erring on the side of caution as they wait for the results. The district thanks the families and staff who were impacted in the closure, for their flexibility and response to the positive case.
