Salida City Council meets for a work session tonight, at 6 p.m. Aug. 19 in the Touber Building at 448 E. 1st St. to discuss accessory dwelling units and to hear from multiple presenters.
Following a tour of the remodeling in the police department, the work session agenda pertains to multiple presentations to the councilmembers: Willa Williford on Inclusionary Housing and Linkage Fees, a presentation from Bev Orrill and Rebecca Rice from Chaffee County Public Health Regarding Vaping, and a presentation by Joseph Teipel with the Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF).
Also, in the work session, a community discussion regarding changes to accessory dwelling units (ADU) regulations.
Salida City Council will hold their regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 in the Touber Building discussing the upcoming November election procedures and short term rentals.
