From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday at the Salida Community Center at 305 F Street the Medication Assistance Treatment (MAT) mobile unit offers medication-assisted treatment, helping people with opioid-use disorders.
The project is in partnership with Front Range Clinic and the Colorado Office of Behavioral Health. Outfitted with a nurse, addiction counselor and peer recovery specialist, this program strives to help provide addiction treatment. MAT offers medications, counseling options as well as peer services.
