The interview committee from Salida Middle School reviewed the applications that were submitted and formally interviewed three candidates who were qualified for the position. Saab was offered and accepted the position and the Board approved the committee’s hiring recommendation at their July 12 meeting.

Saab says she is deeply committed to public education and fostering whole child development through rigorous content, social emotional learning, creativity, and joy.

She says her top priority for this year is “building new relationships with her students, staff, families, and community”.

Saab is a Colorado native who enjoys spending her time in Chaffee County. She loves to hike and play in the river with her pup Rio. She is already a Monarch season pass holder and says she is looking forward to becoming a part of the Salida community.
