You know summertime is truly here when the giant water slide at Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort opens for the season. That 400-foot-long water slide opens at 10:00 a.m. today, Friday, May 26 for the season.

Slide operation hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. The slide winds down from above the resort’s top pools to the crystal-clear hot springs pools below. The resort called it “an adrenaline rush” that is just plain fun for all ages.

The hot springs are included with the overnight stay of all overnight guests of the resort. For county residents with passes for the creekside public pools, the upper pools are an additional $5 per person for the day. The pools are heated by a geothermal spring, resulting in water temperatures that range from 70°F to 120°F
