The next meeting of the Mountain West UAS (Unmanned Arial System) is scheduled as an in-person or Zoom session from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 1. It will be held at the Central Colorado Regional Airport Conference Room located at 27960 CR 319 in Buena Vista.
The session will be focused on the history behind the development of the Buena Vista Drone Training Park next to the Rodeo Grounds, and south of Rodeo Drive. The Buena Vista Drone Training Park (DTP) is a cooperative effort between the Town of Buena Vista and Mountain West UAS.
The overview will include discussion of the opportunities presented by the DTP for pilots of all skills and abilities to develop and hone their craft skills.
