The City of Salida Arts and Culture as well as the Parks and Recreation departments have teamed up to bring the community a showing of Raya and the Last Dragon in Marvin Park, 900 West First Street, Salida, CO 81201. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 11. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and the film will start around 8:30 p.m.

Viewers can sit out under the stars at Marvin Park for this outdoor screening event of the newest Disney film. In Raya and the Last Dragon, there is a realm known as Kumandra, a re-imagined Earth inhabited by an ancient civilization. There, a warrior named Raya is determined to find the last dragon. The film is rated PG. The event is free, but registration is required.

Bring snacks, blankets and low chairs as you “camp” out in the softball outfield at Marvin Park. Walk or bike to the fields, as parking is limited.
