NAMI Chaffee County plans to offer a free Family-to-Family Class on Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting October 4 through November 22. The eight-week class offers the opportunity to share experiences, gain insight, hope, acceptance, compassion and understanding in caring for a family member with a mental illness.

The class will offer an in-depth study of mental illness characteristics, treatment, coping, communication skills, problem solving, connecting with community resources, and advocacy. October 9 is the cutoff date for entering the class. Pre-registration is required. The Zoom link will be given at registration.
