Mako Medical is offering free COVID-19 testing in Cañon City and now has a new website which compiles information for all their testing sites in Colorado. With concerns and COVID-19 cases rising throughout the state, and concerns over the lengthy time people must wait for test results during which they may infect other friends or family members, this testing capability is positive news.
The medical group has added another new web page that contains a shortened version of the request form for each testing site. The form has the state-required testing questions and streamlines the process for those who need to be tested.

This all-in-one page web tool gives all locations and times of testing throughout the state. Preregistering reduces wait time and person to person contact.
Currently, the Cañon City site has a four day turnaround period. Those who have been tested are asked not to call the site until four full days have passed since the test has been taken. Results can be accessed by scanning a VR code, via their website or by texting Mako to 66349.
