Ark Valley Voice is a trusted, independent source of local news for Chaffee County and the Arkansas Valley. And right now, that is more important than ever.
We are excited to announce that, once again, we have been chosen as one of the 26 Colorado newsrooms selected for the #newsCOneeds year-end match grant! We’re in some great company; most are news organizations with which we work, both as members of the Colorado Press Association and the Colorado News Collaborative.
The Colorado Media Project (and Gates Family Foundation) has pledged a $5,000 challenge grant to us to help us inspire our community to support the Ark Valley Voice and its role as a trusted source of local news.
From November 30 until December 31, 2021, for every dollar we raise from the community, up to $5,000, will be matched by the challenge fund!
