The Partnership for Community Action is hosting an initial meeting of their Trans-Family Peer Support Group at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9. This informal potluck dinner allows parents and family members to support each other and find helpful information on their journey raising gender-expansive children and teens. At this inaugural gathering, attendees will jointly decide on the group’s needs, best times to meet, group format and more.
The PfCA will provide beverages, utensils, plates and napkins. Childcare will not be provided at this initial gathering. The PfCA headquarters is located at 129 West Sackett Avenue, Unit A, in downtown Salida. For questions, or to learn how to become a part of the Partnership, email firstname.lastname@example.org. As always, PfCA HQ is a drug, alcohol, tobacco, and hate-free space.
The Partnership for Community Action (PfCA) is a grassroots movement of Queer and Trans people and allies working towards LGBTQIA+ liberation by amplifying our shared voice, building safety through community, and connecting Queer and Trans people and their allies in rural Colorado.
