Two public hearings have been scheduled for the Poncha Meadows Major Development in Poncha Springs, the first set for 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 14 at the Poncha Springs Town Hall, located at 333 Burnett Ave.
This evening the hearing to review the preliminary plat for a parcel east of U.S. 285, and north of CR 128 will be conducted by the Poncha Springs Planning and Zoning Commission.
Applicants Tom and Carrie Mesch, have proposed a major subdivision for a 118.5 acre parcel now owned by JLS2 LLC into a subdivision with 117 lots, a 2.18 acre public parking lot, and with 93.8 acres left undeveloped at this point in the plan.
The preliminary plan is also tentatively scheduled for a public hearing with the Poncha Springs Board of Trustees.
That session is tentatively set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 27, assuming that the Planning and Zoning Commission approves the proposal to move forward to the next stage of development and review.
