The regular meeting of the Poncha Springs Planning and Zoning Commission will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the Poncha Springs Town Hall, 333 Burnett Avenue. Two public hearings are scheduled: the first is for the DeAnza Vista Multifamily Site Plan, a revision of the plan submitted to P & Z and the board of trustees in January.

That plan called for a new two-story building, with six apartment units, on the site. Based on feedback from the trustees, the plan now calls for a one-story duplex to the west of the “clubhouse” on a one-acre lot owned by William Simpson, and a one-story four-plex along the southern edge of 10001 Poncha Springs Lane; between two existing five-unit apartment buildings (north of 620 and 622 E Poncha Ave.)

The second public hearing will cover the Spartan Heights Multifamily Site Plan, proposing one four-plex on Lot 5 & 6, 310 & 312 Hulbert Ave. submitted by Salida School District R32J and Diesslin Structures Inc.
