Housing and other development will be the major business of the Joint Meeting of the Poncha Springs Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Trustees, to be held Monday, November 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Poncha Springs Town Hall, 333 Burnett Avenue. There will be two public hearings: the first on the final plat for the Poncha Town Center major subdivision, located on the northeast corner of the “south” US 50/285 intersection, and then on the DeAnza Vista Multifamily Site Plan, a proposed 5-plex to the west of the “clubhouse  on a 1.00 acre lot owned by William Simpson, as well as a variance request ,“For all multiple-family dwelling units, off street parking shall be located on the same property or within the same residential development and be within 50 feet of the structure the parking is to serve.”

There will also be a presentation by the Salida Housing Corp. on density consideration for Poncha Apartments.

The proposed 2019 budget will be considered at a public hearing of the Board of Trustees to be held November 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Poncha Springs Town Hall.  Any interested elector of the Town of Poncha Springs may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.
