The Poncha Springs Planning and Zoning Committee and the Board of Trustees will be holding a joint session at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at Poncha Springs Town Hall.
There are two public hearings on the agenda: one for the Board of Trustees to consider a special events permit for the Chaffee County Democrats to be able to serve alcohol at an Aug. 18 event, and a joint public hearing between the board and the Planning and Zoning Committee to consider a major subdivision.
The proposed subdivision is comprised of two parcels totaling 15.15 acres, owned by 10100 W. Highway 50 LLC. The subdivision is located north of U.S. Highway 50 and east of the U.S. Highway 50-285 combined right-of-way in Poncha Springs.
The plan is to divide the parcels into 14 commercial lots. The preliminary plat is on display at Town Hall and can be viewed on request.
In other business, the Board and P & Z will be considering a request to divide a lot located at 10525 CR 120 into two lots.
