The Salida School District is in urgent need of more volunteer referees. Currently, the district is at a crisis stage in terms of the number of referees available for sports. If they do not have enough referees, they cannot hold scheduled sporting events.    The few that they have are covering seven to 10 games in a week after they have worked their actual jobs.
