The sessions are a source of new energy and ideas, and most are free of charge.

Monday, Feb. 22, 10:00 a.m.: The KNOW – LIKE – TRUST Concept: Understanding and Why it Matters to Increase Sales. Leanne Pressly, owner of Stitchcraft Marketing, will discuss trust building steps with customers, how to identify your customer avatar and provide action steps to fortify or adjust your marketing program at each stage moving forward.

Friday, Feb. 26, 2:30-3:30 p.m.: This month’s Finance Friday delves into Business Accounting and Budgets. Presenter Kelly Johnston is a member of the West Central SBDC workshop facilitator team, teaching bookkeeping, cash flow, and accounting boot camps. She also serves as a West Central SBDC consultant.

Monday, March 1, Noon-1:00 p.m.: Marketing Mondays presents Nichole Zangara, founder and creative director of Co+Creative Solutions, a boutique marketing and design studio in Telluride. She focuses on intentional experiences for small businesses and entrepreneurs who want to invent – or reinvent – themselves, attract ideal clients and connect to community.

Wednesday, March 3, Noon-1:00 p.m.: To Be or Not to Be a Nonprofit: The Information You Need to Form a 501(c)(3). Part 2 of a four-part series. This session covers the steps for creating a nonprofit, what and where to file for 501(c)(3) status and what to include in your by-laws.

Speaker: Certified Nonprofit Fundraising Professional, Robin Thompson has fundraising and leadership experience as Vice President of Development at the Vail Valley Foundation and Oregon Institute of Technology plus as Executive Director of the Oregon Tech Foundation and Vail Christian High School. Over the last several years she has worked with many nonprofits in the mountains of Colorado, across the U.S. and internationally helping them be more successful in raising money.

She is the author of two books: “Putting the FUN in Fundraising: The Secrets to Raising More Money, Faster and Easier” and “Know Stress to No Stress — A Guide to Achieving Life Balance”. Robin has been a professional speaker for 25 years.

Cost is $15 per session. Once you register for each session you will be sent a zoom link. Each class will build on the previous content. If you miss a class in the series, an on-demand video will be made available after the class concludes – downloadable for $15 per session. The presenters encourage live attendance when possible so attendees can participate in the discussion. Class attendees will receive a recording of the live class included in the registration fee.
