Rocky Mountain Women’s Film presents their annual Shorts Night, which began on April 15 and continues through April 18. This is their biggest fundraiser of the year, which will be held virtually. The four-day event offers the year’s best short films, including family-friendly options.

The program presents a lineup of some of the most decorated films of the year including winners of the most prestigious awards and festivals from around the world such as Sundance, Berlin, Cannes, and of course, the Academy Awards. Short film devotees or those that just have a shorter attention span are encouraged to join the event from the comfort of your couch.

The event will host three Shorts programs which include six to eight films each. Tickets start at 15 dollars and the money generated will support Rocky Mountain Women’s Film.

Rocky Mountain Women’s Film builds community around film, by elevating the stories of women and others who are often unheard or unseen. As a women-led organization, they seek to discover, support, connect, and inspire filmmakers while cultivating connections and conversations around their work.

They believe that an authentic story-driven by women and others who are often unheard, or unseen has the power to spark new levels of empathy and understanding, stimulate constructive discourse, and lead to cultural and community connection through awakening new ideas, entertaining and delighting audiences, and pushing creative boundaries.

Rocky Mountain Women’s Film believe that experiencing this wider breadth of stories is important to a healthy and thriving culture for all people.
