On Sunday, the Monarch Crest Crank will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This mountain bike event is along the Monarch Crest Trail. This historic fundraiser benefits The Alliance, which helps victims of domestic and sexual abuse. The $95 entry fee includes the ride, on-course support, a shuttle to the Crest and back to downtown Salida, and post-ride food and beverage. The post-ride party will take place in Riverside Park.

This year there is a “virtual supporter” option too for those who wish to watch the race virtually. Other adjustments have been made due to COVID-19 regulations and in the interest of keeping participants and spectators safe.
