“Salida Circus in Slovenia,” presentation at the SteamPlant

Starting at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 20, the Salida Circus Outreach Foundation will be hosting an event by one of Salida Circus’s Founding Members, Destiny Meseke, at the Salida SteamPlant located at 220 W. Sackett Ave.

Since 2017, Meseke has resided in Slovenia teaching circus to migrant children in Ljubljana. Tonight, she intends to share a travelogue presentation on her experiences in teaching circus while living there.

The Salida Circus Outreach Foundation has offered circus training for personal development to youth and adults in Chaffee County and beyond. The organizers of the Salida Circus event say, “That this is one presentation not to be missed.”
