The Salida Circus will be hosting a New Year’s Camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on December 30, 2019 to January 3, 2020. With registration still open, spaces are available for youths age 5 to 18 to participate in the Camp which will be held at the SteamPlant Event Center, 220 W. Sackett Ave in Salida.

Those who register will have the opportunity to train on trapeze, silks, lyra, aerial cube, stilts, juggling, tumbling, rolling globe, and more.
In addition to instruction, former Ringling and Disney performer, LizzyBeth Elkins will bring her tightrope, clowning and tumbling skills to the event. Elkins recently joined Salida Circus as the coordinator for the Moffat/Crestone outreach project. Elkins brings with her 20 years of circus experience including tours with Ringling and Disney shows, Aerial Angels Circus and Super Sproutz.
