The Salida Circus announced late last week that they are looking for children and adults of all ages to audition for their upcoming Spring Show. The show is scheduled to run Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.
Auditions for the Spring Show will take place on two different days; from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26. The auditions will be held at the Salida Sign Factory, located at 932 East Highway 50 in Salida.
The Salida Circus in primarily seeking children ages seven and older, in addition to adults of all ages. The Salida Circus has asked those that are interested in auditioning to be prepared for demonstrating circus, dance, clowning, acting, and singing skills. The Salida Circus said although performing experience is preferred, it is not required.
Those interested in auditioning, must be available for evening rehearsals that will take place starting in mid-March and will run through May 16. To sign up for an audition, the Salida Circus has asked that those interested email jennsalidacircus@gmail.com with a preferred audition date and time. The Salida Circus will confirm audition times with each inquiry.
