Salida Circus will host their Summer Circus from May 31 to June 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Circus activities include trapeze, silks, aerial cube, Chinese pole, juggling, acrobatics and unicycling. The Circus is limiting the camp to 12 participants who will stay in groups of four throughout the camp.
Currently there are still spaces available, but the Circus recommends people sign up sooner rather than later because they are getting filled up. There will be more camps to come with smaller groups this summer to abide by social guidance rules. Kids will be asked to wear masks until they start training. They will have hand sanitizer and temperature checks.
The Circus is also excited to be bringing in top-notch aerial tutors – Cynthia Johnson from Durango and Natalie Keller from Denver.
The class is for children ages five to 14. The camp cost $150 and those interested are urged to reach out quickly for a guaranteed spot. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for the registration form.
