The Salida City Council (SCC) is holding its regular meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Touber Building, 448 E. First Street. A complete agenda packet and instructions for remote meeting access can be found here.
Among the agenda items are the approvals of a contract with CMT Technical Services as a “third-party tester” for the fire station construction project and two public hearings. One hearing is for an amplified music permit at the High Side! Bar and Grill at 300 West Sackett Avenue; and one for the final reading for Ordinance 2023-13, authorizing the issuing of Certificates of Participation for the fire station construction project.
Resolutions to be considered include 2023-47, adopting the 2024 budget, which will apparently include a $900,000 placeholder for establishing outdoor soaking pools. Other resolutions include appointments to various committees and boards, as well as 2023-48, expressing SCC opposition to Ballot Question 300.
