The Salida City Council will host their regular meeting starting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 2. Council will have the second reading and conduct a public hearing on Ordinance 2021-02 which would amend Chapter 6 of the Salida Municipal code concerning businesses licensing and regulations including marijuana licensing and short-term rental licensing.

The council will also host a public hearing to review a new hotel and restaurant liquor license for Pizza Rio located at 228 North F Street.

New Business items include a discussion on Resolution 2021-04 which finds the Upchurch Annexation Petition to be in substantial compliance with state statutes, qualifying for a public hearing on the petition. The proposed annexation is roughly between County Road 140 and 141 and west of Holman Avenue. Also on the agenda is Resolution 2021-05 which would approve the subdivision plat for the Cherry Grove major subdivision, located at 825 Scott Street near the River Ridge subdivision on the east side of Salida.
