The Salida City Council holds a regular meeting tonight at Council Chambers in the Touber Building, 440 East First Street.

Following the Citizen Comment period, Mayor Dan Shore plans to read two proclamations declaring May 13 as Arbor Day and Celebrating May 2023 as Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

On the agenda is a final reading and public hearing for Ordinance 2023-05, establishing criteria for small cell wireless facilities in the city. (Unlike cell towers, or “macrocell” facilities, small cell facilities are designed to fit onto existing infrastructure such as utility poles.)

Also on the agenda is consideration of a number of Resolutions. 2023-22 sets the fee schedule for small cell facilities and 2023-23 deals with the F Street Plaza and its vehicle closure for the summer, also setting the conditions for businesses to apply for liquor license permitting for outdoor service.

Resolution 2023-24 addresses development services for Inclusionary Housing In-Lieu Fees; and 2023-25, to allow camping in Marvin Park for FIBArk.

The complete agenda packet, and instructions for remote access, can be found here.
