The first reading of an ordinance surrounding an amendment regarding the city treasurer’s duties, and the “compensation” and the “duties of the Audit Committee,” is on the Salida City Council agenda for 6 p.m. April 2, at the Touber Building, 448 E. First St. in Salida.

Also noted in the agenda is the renaming of the audit committee to become known as the “Finance Committee.” Other topics slated for tomorrow’s meeting include reappointments to the Recreation Advisory Board, a resolution involving proposed splash pools and splash pad project, and approval on the Alpine Park Basketball Court Project.

The agenda also has slated an executive session “for the purpose of determining positions relative” to negotiations and instruction of negotiators, and also for, “the purpose of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions concerning the purchase, acquisition and/or transfer of real property and negotiation strategies.”
